Research for my logos

I needed an idea to create a logo so I did some research on Google images searching for simple logos, and well know logos, I found many different logos some that I knew.

Some looked like they had been made up from many different shapes and were based on one theme colour.

Others show exactly what the name of a company is or what the company is best known for.

Some may show the initials of a company or brand.

I decided to use separate shapes with colour that contains a section of text in the middle.
